Felice Hodges

Originally from New York but resident in the UK for many years, Felice produces striking canvases which span a wide range of palettes and moods. The work includes a variety of dominant colours, yet all are immediately identifiable as the work of her hand. Equally successful at both a large and small scale, Hodges' painting is imbued with a characteristic dynamism and energy. Marks and gestures are made with flair and panache; the apparently accidental and fortuitous as much a result of her decision-making as the most precise lines. In autumn 2024, we were delighted to present a solo exhibition of Felice's paintings.
