Kintsugi: The Photography of Koo Stark

28 November - 20 December 2025
A solo exhibition of Koo Stark's photographs, encompassing her journey as an artist over several decades

Kintsugi, the exhibition, is a powerful and personal visual representation of Koo Stark's photographs, capturing fleeting moments in the last three decades of her eventful and fascinating life.

The exhibition brings together Koo's early work as a photographer, turning the camera on the paparazzi, with her intimate celebrity portraits and works celebrating spirituality and healing.

Kintsugi, literally 'joining with gold',  is part of the broader Japanese philosophy of accepting and acknowledging scars, and of the power of renewal.

Koo's work is held in private and public collections, including the National Portrait Gallery, the V&A and Banbury Museum.
